Spokane, WAâRunners, joggers and walkers planning to use the US Postal Service to mail in their Bloomsday entries have one more day to do so. Entries must be postmarked by Tuesday, April 12th to take advantage of the $15.00 entry fee. Online entrants (www.bloomsdayrun.org) will have until April 17th.

April 12th is also the deadline for middle school and high school teams to sign up for the second annual School Challengeâsponsored by The Childrenâs Choice Dentistry. The School Challenge aims to find out which middle schools and high schools have the fastest Bloomsday runners. Winning teams in each of six divisions will receive iPod Shuffles (one for each team member) courtesy of Strong Solutionsâ1718 E. Sprague.

To enter the School Challenge, team members must first sign up for Bloomsday, either online or through the mail, and return a School Challenge Application Form to the Bloomsday officeâ1610 W. Riverside, Spokane WA 99201âby April 12th. Forms are available on the Bloomsday website by clicking the Registration button, then School Challenge on the drop-down menu.

Bloomsday entry forms are available at area Washington Trust Banks, Safeway Stores, Franz Bakery Outlets, Premera Blue Cross, Holy Family Hospital and Sacred Heart Medical Center. Runners can also sign up at Sports Authorityâs two local stores until 9:00 pm on April 12th.
