Spokane, WA—This year’s Bloomsday participants must have been primed for acoustic blends with vocal harmonies, as the band Spare Parts, which was located at Ft. George Wright Drive and Elliot Road, captured top honors in the Best Bloomsday Entertainer contest. Spare Parts earned 228 votes out of 990 cast. Punk rockers Small Town Nation finished second, with country soloist Breanna Abell, who won top honors in 2006 and 2007, finishing third.
