Bloomsday through the years: library exhibit showcases collection of official posters

Friday, April 6, 2007

Spokane, WA—The history of Bloomsday is now on display at the downtown Spokane library in an exhibit of 29 official Bloomsday posters. The posters span the entire history of the race and showcase the variety of artwork and photography that has been used to commemorate the event. In addition, a Bloomsday t-shirt quilt is on loan to the Library from Gloria and Bob Lamon and is part of the display. The Lilac Bloomsday Association and Hamilton Studios have contributed to this display by donating a number of posters to the Library’s collection.
